Nagomi Vineyards

Nagomi Vineyards was started by ex-systems engineer and Tokyo native Toshihiro Ike. In 2010, he planted his first vines in Tomi City and in 2018, obtained his brewing licence and established the winery. Ike-san’s winemaking can be described as taking reference from Burgundy, and he’s one of the few winemakers in Japan that specifically age still wines in bottle for an extended duration, releasing them only when he feels it’s ready. Naturally, Nagomi Vineyards’ top cuvees consist of a Pinot Noir and a Chardonnay, but he also makes sparkling wines using representative regional grapes like Kyoho
