Maezawa-san is a farmer through and through - in addition to growing grapes, he also cultivates rice and other vegetables. As believers of community spirit, Maezawa-san and his wife Tomoe also operate a guesthouse nestled in the hills of Tomi, where guests can enjoy delicious homecooked meals and local wine surrounded by nature. In the vineyard, Maezawa-san practices minimal intervention, giving the wines a vitality that’s instantly recognizable.
