When I visited Kifutato’s vineyards in May, the sun was out in full force - I could feel it on my face, yet there was a constant cool breeze blowing across the fields. This wine reminds me so much of that, down to the bright yellow colour reminiscent of the dandelions or ‘tampopo’ that take over the fields that time of year. It’s ripe and sunny on both the nose and palate, yet stays fresh and inviting throughout.
