Tanabe-san made this wine with an image of Beaujolais in mind. In that respect, we think he’s succeeded. Through the use of whole-bunch fermentation, the bright fruit of Kyoho is accentuated, and the addition of a small amount of Merlot helps to lend structure and depth to the wine.
