Mimakigahara P | 2023

The low rainfall of the Mimakigahara Plateau provides excellent growing conditions for Pinot Noir.
 
Mimakigahara P 2023 is delicate, silky, and made in a decidedly cool-climate style. Compared to 2022, the heat of this vintage also comes through, with more intensity and superb ripeness.
 
A unique feature of this wine is that it feels aged right out of the bottle, and has a complex underlying layer of forest floor aromas, and distinct umami on the palate.
