Tanabe-san’s objective for this wine was to make a Kyoho wine that was expressive of the varietal and terroir. To achieve this, organically-farmed Kyoho grapes are used in this bottling, and the wine is extracted gently. It’s incredibly perfumed and pretty on the nose, while also having a savoury edge on the palate. It’s unlike any other Kyoho wine we’ve had so far, in the best way possible.
